JUNE 6th, 2004 (Sunday 8:30 - 4:00)

"Natural Horsemanship Principles and Concepts"

In this clinic, participants will learn about principles and concepts (not techniques) that will unlock the doors to your horse's potential....and more importantly, YOUR potential. This will be a very detailed and educational clinic working on the intricasies of the 12 Training Principles of Natural Horsemanship and how they apply to EVERYTHING that you do with your horse. We will also cover the 3 components of a horse, the 4 categories that all horse problems fall under, How bits works and why you should use certain bits at certain times with certain horses. Educational and detailed. Whether on the ground or in the saddle, you and your horse are going to begin to communicate differently.

 

JULY 11th, 2004 (Sunday 8:30 - 4:00)

"Bareback Essentials"

Getting back to teaching the basics of natural balance,developing independent seat, and communicating with the most minimal of aids. NO Whips, NO Bits, NO Saddles, NO Spurs!!! Even if you have never ridden bareback, if you are a fairly good rider, then this clinic is for you. By the end of this clinic you will have gained trust and confidence in your horse or mule. Your communication will improve, you will find a new found freedom in your relationship and begin working toward a better partnership with your equine partner.

 

AUGUST 8th, 2004 (Sunday 8:30 - 4:00)

"Natural Horse Play Allowed Here!"

This is the first of our new "Theme Clinics". This clinic's theme will be Parrot Head Madness! For all you Jimmy Buffet Parrot Heads out there, its time to break out your loudest Hawaiian shirt, crazy straw hat, sunglasses, grass skirts, pooka shell necklaces, surfboards, Pina Coladas (completely NON -Alcoholic of course!!) and big smiles and come learn natural horsemanship principles while playing with your horse to the musical sounds of Jimmy Buffet, The Beach Boys, Kenny Chesney, Jan and Dean, and more!!!....It's sun, sand and .....well.....horses! Get creative for your wardrobe and don't forget about your horse!!!! Dancing with your horse is acceptable and encouraged!!! Even though we will be having FUN, we will be working on some new ways to communicate with your horse through FEEL, TIMING and BALANCE.

 

SEPTEMBER 12th, 2004 (Sunday 8:30 - 4:00)

"Teach Your Horse To Hook On In The Round Pen Without Running Them In Mindless Circles"

Each rider and their horse will be working in the round pen individually. Then all participants will move to the arena for some groundwork and mounted horsemanship exercises. Good all around "Hook-On " Clinic and how it relates to mounted horsemanship.

 

OCTOBER 10th, 2004 (Sunday 8:30 - 4:00)

"Expanding Your Horsemanship Comfort Zone"

Write down several horsemanship and partnership goals on paper and bring them to this clinic! Whatever you feel is important to you and your horse, write it down and bring it with you.
