Foster Dogs

I've been involved with our local humane society and am dedicated to eliminating the need to euthanize adoptable dogs, due to lack of space. I help educate people and encourage them to spay and neuter their pets. I am a member and foster provider for the Great Lakes Border Collie Rescue I also volunteer at the North Central IN Spay and Neuter and take photos of adoptable animals and post them on Petfinder.

I started a group that is comprised of group of dog owners who are interested in dog related things that are going on in the Lafayette, IN and surrounding area. Information about things such as: where the dog friendly businesses are located, asking for help with dog behavior related issues, requests for help for homeless dogs, the best sources/prices on dog related items, great places to take your dog to play/swim, favorite vets, petsitters in town, opportunities to volunteer at your local shelter, a place to find others for doggie play dates, and any other dog related information will be shared here. The only requirement to join this group is that you have a love for dogs.

I designed this site because I really believe in Michael and the natural horsemanship skills he possesses. He is constantly seeking ways to build on these skills and seeks outlets to share these skills with others, whether it be in a clinic, with individuals, etc. Not only is his knowledge base substantial, he also possesses an uncanny ability to explain things in a way that others can easily understand. Hopefully, this sharing of knowledge will play a part in helping people develop better communication and meaningful relationships with their horses.
